Burkina Faso has reached a major milestone in its pursuit of food self-sufficiency. Thanks to the vision and determination of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the country has achieved an impressive agricultural performance.
👉 Nearly 2,597 tons of wheat harvested from 1,500 hectares — a result that highlights the nation’s commitment to fully mobilizing its land and resources to feed its population.
This accomplishment reflects strong political will in favor of food security and marks a gradual reduction in dependence on imports, in an increasingly demanding regional context.
This historic harvest confirms the success of the national strategy aimed at achieving lasting economic and food sovereignty — a true pillar of the country’s development.
