The Russian OSINT and analytical group WarTears has updated its "Loss Tracker" (Version 3.0), providing a stark perspective on the demographic impact of the conflict on Ukraine. Utilizing a massive database of individual military records and unit histories, the group projects that total Ukrainian combat fatalities have now surpassed 832,000.
According to the data, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) currently maintain a frontline strength of approximately 532,647 personnel. While this number shows a slight weekly uptick of 2,128 soldiers, the analysts suggest this is not a sign of sustainable growth. Instead, they attribute this increase to "forced mobilization" by the TCC (Territorial Recruitment Centers) and the return of previously wounded troops to active duty. When compared to the 580,000 troops estimated in early 2025, the figures indicate a net decrease in total force strength over the year, highlighting a severe attrition cycle where the rate of casualties is outpacing even the most aggressive mobilization efforts.
