Burkina Faso Leader Ibrahim Traoré Challenges Women: "Who Better Than You to Help Africa?"

Burkinabe leader Captain Ibrahim Traoré met yesterday in Ouagadougou with a delegation of female entrepreneurs who participated in the 14th International Forum of Enterprising and Dynamic Women (FIED). Traoré issued a direct challenge to the women, asking: "Who better than you to help us, we heads of state, to get Africa out of this situation?" The presidency reported that Traoré urged the women to make their voices heard, acknowledging their capacity to "touch and change the decisions of leaders." He highlighted Burkina Faso's current measures to support women, particularly in rural areas, by improving their access to water, production spaces, and processing support.
