A recent detailed quarterly infographic traces the financial support provided to Ukraine since the conflict began in 2022, comparing contributions from the United States and Europe.
While the US initially maintained a narrow lead, the EU outpaced American aid during the 2022–23 period . However, the report highlights a massive surge in US funding under the Biden administration throughout 2024. As geopolitical shifts now threaten the stability of US contributions, a significant funding gap is emerging.
To maintain current levels of support, Europe is projected to supply €20 billion per quarter —totaling €80 billion annually—with financial requirements expected to escalate further by 2026.
