Italy has postponed the approval of a decree that would allow Rome to extend military aid deliveries to Ukraine next year, according to Reuters sources. The delay stems from growing tensions within the right-wing governing coalition led by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni over continued support for Kyiv.
Meloni has repeatedly vowed to support Ukraine “until the end,” but her deputy prime minister, Matteo Salvini — leader of the League party — has questioned whether such assistance should continue.
