Mali: 999 New Peacekeepers Join the National Police Force

Mali has officially welcomed 999 new peacekeepers into its National Police. These young women and men, trained at the Amadou Touré “Gandhi” National Police Academy, were presented to the national flag during the ceremony for the 2nd graduating class held in Bamako.

⚔️ Trained simultaneously in Bamako, Gao, and Timbuktu, the recruits completed a basic common training program followed by an intensive strengthening phase in Samanko. Their arrival marks a significant reinforcement for Mali’s internal security efforts.
