The Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) successfully destroyed a terrorist base in the Kita region of western Mali, the army's communication service reported on November 11. The operation, executed on November 10, involved air forces conducting targeted strikes against terrorist positions near the Soribougou locality. Following the strikes, a ground sweep was carried out, which led to the complete dismantling of the base. While the number of terrorists neutralized was not specified, the FAMa communiqué detailed the recovered materials: four motorcycles (one burned), two walkie-talkies, and twenty 20-liter cans of oil.
