MARADI: President Tiani Leads Regional Security Meeting

President Abdourahamane Tiani chaired a Regional Security Council meeting in Maradi on November 17, 2025, focused on assessing the current security situation. Gathered around the Head of State were:Minister of Defense Salifou Modi, Chief of Defense Staff Moussa Salaou Barmou, the President’s Special Chief of Staff Ibro Amadou Bacharou, the Director General of Police, the High Commander of the Gendarmerie, the Governor, and key leaders of the region’s defense and security forces.
