Morocco has secured a major victory for its tourism sector, winning the prestigious title of "Destination of the Year 2025." The award was presented at the 25th edition of the Travel Awards 2025 ceremony in Brussels, attended by nearly 1,000 Belgian tourism professionals. This crowning achievement recognizes the diversity and quality of the Moroccan tourist offering, underpinned by its millennial heritage. The Kingdom is on track for a record year, having welcomed over 16 million tourists by the end of October 2025, with projections hitting 18 million by year-end. Looking ahead to 2026, the government plans to sustain this growth by strengthening international promotion, diversifying its tourism offerings, and supporting key investors.
