Sissili: Governor Béré Calls for Unity to Restore Security and Boost Development

During his first official visit to the Sissili province, the governor of the Nando region, Adama Jean Yves Béré, placed a strong emphasis on social cohesion, urging all local actors to stand together in the collective effort to strengthen security and revive development.

Speaking in Leo on November 22, 2025, Governor Béré called on community leaders, administrative officials, youth groups, traditional authorities, and civil society to “form a united front” in order to consolidate peace and accelerate the province’s progress.

He highlighted that the Sissili has immense potential but requires a climate of stability and cooperation to fully harness it. By rallying the “forces vives” — the active and influential segments of society — the governor stressed that the province can overcome current challenges and set a new course for sustainable development.

This first regional tour marks Béré’s intention to lead through dialogue, inclusion, and collective responsibility as security and socio-economic recovery remain top priorities for the administration.
